Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2: All NPC Locations & Services

I dropped into New Sanctuary with the storm closing fast and three enemies between me and the circle. I watched an NPC trade a Pro Fishing Rod, and suddenly the whole match felt salvageable. You know that moment when a single hire changes the math of a fight.

I’ve run every route across Chapter 7, season 2 so you don’t have to. I’ll tell you where each NPC hangs out, what they’ll sell or do, and which ones are worth spending your gold bars on.

The map is crowded: 14 NPCs are scattered across the island, and they matter more than you think

NPCs are not just props — they tilt fights, restock you, and sometimes pull you out of a bad zone. I tracked where each one sits at the season’s start (March 19) and noted what they offer. The cast moves through the season; treat this like a living cheat-sheet you can consult before a drop.

Where are NPCs in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2?

Quick fact: as of launch there are 14 NPCs. I treat the island like a live map — when Epic Games tweaks spawn points, the value of a stop can swing fast. Use community tools such as Fortnite.GG, FNBR Map, and creator videos on YouTube to cross-check live spawns before you drop.

How do I hire or trade with NPCs?

Observation: hiring requires gold bars or specific items. You’ll speak to an NPC, confirm the hire cost, then either pay or watch them join. The Foundation costs 750 gold bars; Rival Hope and Squibbly run around 350 gold bars. Treat hires as insurance — a specialist is like a Swiss army knife for late-game chaos.

What services should you prioritize?

Observation: not every sell is equal. If you need mobility, hire guards that provide vehicle access. If you fish, Chef Squibbly’s Pro Fishing Rod (250 gold bars) is a fast route to high-tier catches. Prioritize hires that match your playstyle and the match’s objective — stealing a supply helicopter or guarding a revive can swing placement.

I used Moyens I/O’s screenshot to mark spawns and cross-checked with Epic Games’ live patches and map trackers. Treat the table above as your quick-reference — memorize two hires and you’ll feel like you’ve gained an extra player. Which NPC will you trust with your next endgame, and what does that choice say about your playstyle?
