Completing the Wishwall in Hollow Knight: Silksong opens up new side quests in Bone Bottom, and one of the first tasks you’ll encounter is “Garb of the Pilgrims.” This quest requires you to collect twelve scraps of Pilgrim Garb, and while the game doesn’t explicitly guide you to their locations, fear not—it’s manageable, and the rewards are worth your efforts.

Where to Find Pilgrim Garb in Hollow Knight: Silksong
Unlike some collectibles like the Shard Pendant, you won’t find Pilgrim Garb in a specific location. Instead, it drops from various Pilgrim-themed enemies wandering around Pharloom. Keep an eye out for enemies wrapped in brown bandages; those are your targets. After vanquishing one, check if it has a light on it. If it does, congratulations! You’ve just looted a piece of Pilgrim Garb.
While on my quest for the Swift Step upgrade, I stumbled upon how to gather Pilgrim Garbs. There are loads of enemies in the areas you traverse that drop them. If you’re aiming to complete this quest quickly, I recommend a particular spot for efficient grinding.
Once you’ve met Shakra, the map-selling bug in The Marrow, head up and to the left to enter Mosshome. This initial room features six enemies, all of which drop Pilgrim Garb. Plus, it’s an excellent farming spot for Rosaries. If you follow the path, you’ll also find an elevator that will lead you back to Bone Bottom, making it easy to collect all the Pilgrim Garb you need in under five minutes.
After collecting twelve pieces, return to Bone Bottom and interact with the Wishwell to wrap up the quest.
What Do You Get for Completing Garb of the Pilgrims in Hollow Knight: Silksong?
Finishing the “Garb of the Pilgrims” quest rewards you with a Rosary Necklace, a more abundant version of the Broken Prayer Strings you might have been collecting so far. Breaking down the Rosary Necklace fetches you a staggering 120 Rosaries, making it much easier to unlock hidden benches throughout The Marrow and Deep Docks. Even if you’re not eager to purchase easier save points, those Rosaries will come in handy for acquiring maps from Shakra and new items from Pebb.
