Master the Griddy Dance in FC 26: Step-by-Step Guide

Master the Griddy Dance in FC 26: Step-by-Step Guide

The Griddy has long been a beloved celebration within the FC 26 community, and despite what some may think, you can actually perform it in-game! This dance move adds a fun flair to your gameplay and is a great way to express your moment of triumph.

Players who participated in FC 25 might remember working towards the Griddy to Glory objective in Ultimate Team, which was introduced back in August. If you completed that challenge, good news awaits, as it allows access to this celebration in FC 26. However, if you glance through the complete list of celebrations, you won’t see the Griddy listed. But don’t worry; there’s a workaround to unleash this celebration and show off your personality during matches.

How to Perform the Griddy in FC 26

Performing the Griddy is slightly different depending on the mode you’re playing. In FC 25, you might have encountered the Griddy to Glory objective in Ultimate Team, which spanned six days. If you’ve completed that objective, you can expect to receive the item around October 14. Once you have it, head to your Stadium in Ultimate Team and equip it. To execute the Griddy as a signature celebration, simply press the X/A button with a player who does not have a unique signature celebration.

If you’re eager to try the Griddy right now or didn’t play FC 25, don’t be discouraged. There’s still a way to perform it outside of Ultimate Team. Just follow these steps: Choose Newcastle United, add Anthony Elanga to your starting lineup, and score a goal with him. After that, press the X/A button, and the Griddy will be yours to enjoy!

The only reason you’re able to perform the Griddy with Elanga is that it’s his signature celebration. As of now, he’s the sole player in the game who can execute this dance. Whether EA Sports will assign this celebration to others in the future remains to be seen.

For now, remember: to pull off the Griddy, simply choose Newcastle United and score with Anthony Elanga. An interesting note—what used to trigger the Griddy now activates Cristiano Ronaldo’s classic Nap celebration.
