To complicate things, these items are quite rare and can easily be looted by others during raids if you’re not careful. But don’t worry—this guide is designed to improve your chances of snagging both the Flow Controller and Magnetron during your gameplay.
1. Where to Find the Flow Controller in ARC Raiders
First off, keep in mind that neither the Flow Controller nor the Magnetron has a guaranteed spawn location. The spots I’m sharing are based on my own experiences, and notably, I’ve found the Flow Controller to be somewhat easier to come by. Here’s where to look:
The prime location for finding the Flow Controller is at the Medical Research POI in the south-west corner of the map. This area is spacious and contains multiple containers to loot. So far, I’ve found three Flow Controllers here, albeit not from the same spot.
Interestingly, the Medical Research POI seems to be a fan favorite among players. It’s heavily looted, so you may face stiff competition. While it’s possible to find the Flow Controller in other areas, your best bet remains the Medical Research zone, where luck is much more favorable.
2. Searching for the Magnetron in ARC Raiders
Now, let’s tackle the Magnetron. Personally, my hunt for this item has been quite exasperating; I’ve only found one so far, sufficient to complete the Snap and Salvage quest. I discovered it tucked away in a drawer near the Security Desk in the Lobby area. Since then, it’s eluded me completely.
