Congratulations on saving Wishblossom Ranch! Now, it’s time to celebrate in Disney Dreamlight Valley. However, to complete the storyline, you need to unlock a key character. This involves completing the “Home Is Where the Heart Is” quest, which presents some challenges along the way. Don’t worry; I’m here to guide you through each step.
Having experienced numerous quests myself, I can assure you that this mission not only helps you unlock more villagers at Wishblossom Ranch but also enriches your gameplay experience. Let’s dive into how to successfully complete the “Home Is Where the Heart Is” quest!
1. Talk to Snow White and Merlin
Your journey begins by connecting with Snow White. She has a surprise planned for Tinker Bell, but she needs your assistance. Once you’ve discussed the initial steps, seek out Merlin to further strategize.
2. Gather the Materials Needed to Craft the Pixie Furniture Set
A vital part of the surprise involves crafting the Pixie Furniture Set. You’ll need to collect a number of essential materials from around Wishblossom Ranch:
- 10 Reclaimed Barn Wood – Found on the ground throughout the Wishing Alps biome.
- Three Pincushion Peach – Available on trees in Glamour Gulch, including areas like Runway River and Paisley Park.
- Five Giant Acorns – Dug up from apps around Pixie Acres, particularly in Sundae Shores and Hundred-Acre Fields.
- Five Copter Seeds – Dispersed in the wild around Pixie Acres.
3. Craft the Pixie Furniture Set
Once you’ve gathered all the materials, head to any crafting station. Select the Furniture tab and create one Floral Fairy Table and two Floral Fairy Benches.
4. Place the Pixie Furniture Set Near Snow White’s House
Locate Snow White’s house and enter the Furniture mode. Click on the Tinker Bell icon to place the furniture nearby. This will help advance the quest smoothly.
5. Talk to Merlin
After placing the furniture, wait for Merlin to arrive. He may take some time, so be patient. Once he’s there, have a chat with him. Merlin will create the Tiny Pixie Furniture Set, which you’ll need for the next steps.
6. Talk to Tinker Bell
Now it’s time to check in with Tinker Bell. Head into the Wishblossom Heart. You’ll find this hidden area through the stone archway between Wishing Way and Wishblossom Ranch.
7. Talk to Tigger
Tigger was supposed to gather games for the party but hasn’t shown up. Tinker Bell will ask you to find out what happened, so speak with Tigger to get the festivities back on track.
8. Locate and Dig Out the Party Games
You’ll need to dig out the party games hidden in the Pixie Flats and Sundae Shores areas. Use your Royal Shovel to uncover them. Although the quest asks for games in both regions, I found both in the path leading from Modish Marsh into Sundae Shores.
9. Enter the Wishblossom Heart
With the games in hand, return to the Wishblossom Heart. Speak with Tinker Bell and hand over the games you’ve collected. After a quick conversation, she’ll want you to capture a photo of her with the heart.
10. Decorate Pixie Acres
Now that you’ve completed the previous steps, it’s time to officially move Tinker Bell in by decorating Pixie Acres. Open Furniture mode and click on the Tinker Bell quest icon to place her house. Feel free to add three decorative items with cute or rustic tags for extra flair, but this is optional.
Once you’ve placed her house, there’s no fee to pay. A cutscene will play, and you’ll officially unlock Tinker Bell as a villager. Have one last chat with her to complete the “Home Is Where the Heart Is” quest.
