So, use the item to cross the roaming figurine inside the library in Door 50. Wind up the key and place the item at the center of the main library hallway while you hide yourself. Once the alarm goes off in 10 seconds, the figurine will run toward the alarm clock, and you can slowly cross the figurine by moving around the various book racks on the right side of the library to go to the other side of the room. Carry the item in your inventory and use it to lure enemies in any various sections where you find it difficult to dodge any entities.
