Evolved Rengoku is one of the best units in Anime Vanguards because of his incredible Burn damage. Just when you think you worked hard enough to get Renguko, you must also evolve him. Here are all Rengoku (Purgatory) evolution requirements in Anime Vanguards.

How to evolve Rengoku in Anime Vanguards

To evolve Renguko in Anime Vanguards, you must combine completing raids and doing challenges to get all the required materials. Of course, the main focus is first to get Rengoku; without him, there’s no evolution. Therefore, your main goal is to collect Red Webs (raid currency) to buy the Fortune Catalyst (Slayer), an item that increases your drop rate for Rengoku, and Slayer’s Cape, an item required for evolution.

Below is a list of all materials needed to evolve the Secret exclusive unit Renguko into Renguko (Purgatory). One of the requirements is the Slayer’s Cape item, which can be bought in the Raid Shop for 600 Red Webs.

How to get Essence Stones in Anime Vanguards

You must play challenges levels to obtain Essence Stones. You may also get some by redeeming Anime Vanguards codes and trading with other players. The latter option is the most expensive (not counting Robux), but if you have enough Gems and a surplus of good units, you can get enough Essence Stones of all rarities. You can always spend some Robux in the game shop to buy or get a free Gamepass code.
