Top Locked Traits Tier List for Roblox

Top Locked Traits Tier List for Roblox

Apart from Abilities or Weapons, Locked also features Traits. These are niche characteristics that when used strategically can help you win just about every game. But choosing the right ones can be a hassle as there are over two dozen Traits.

To help you out I have made a tier list that sorts them from best to worst along with why I think they belong in the respective tiers.

All Traits Ranked – Locked Tier List

Similar to Weapons, Traits in Locked are also categorized by their rarity: Exclusive (0.5%), Legendary (5%), Exotic (10%), Rare (30%), and Common (55%). Exclusive trains can only be used with their specific weapons and the game also lets you stack multiple Traits to create a combo you like. If you need help picking a good Weapon, check out our Locked Weapons Tier List. Here are the best Traits in Locked.

Tier Traits
S Athlete, Calculate, Destruction, Golden Zone, Puppeteer, Twin Guns
A Ambidextrous, Bunnys, Claw, Dragon, Egoist, Fortune, Long Strides, Meta-Vision, Revolver, Tireless
B Consistent, Quick Draw, Ripper, Surf, Tank, Unbreakable
C Clamps, Diver, No Look, Powerhouse
D Dwarf, Heavy, Lazy, Tired, Weak

S Tier – Best Traits in Locked

Athlete is the best Trait in Roblox Locked. Although it only has a 10% chance of rolling, it gives a much better buff than any other traits in the same rarity. Not only does it give you a jump and slide boost but also increases shot power, making it perfect for all types of players.

Trait Rarity Type Cooldown Pros / Cons
Athlete Exotic Passive None + Combines 50% of Bunnys, Long Strides, and Powerhouse+ Great overall buff
Calculate Exclusive Active and Passive None – Riptide exclusive
Destruction Exclusive Active None – Riptide exclusive
Golden Zone Legendary Active Once per game + Creates a circle which increases shot power- Can only be used once
Puppeteer Legendary Active 230 seconds + Great for support
Twin Guns Exclusive Active 100 seconds – Direct Shot exclusive

Apart from this, Golden Zone and Puppeteer are also great Traits, especially for support, and can help secure goals in the first half if used strategically.

A Tier

Trait Rarity Type Cooldown Pros / Cons
Ambidextrous Legendary Passive 40 seconds + Boost shot power+ Low cooldown+ Great for strikers
Bunnys Exotic Passive None + Jump boost+ Perfect for tall builds
Claw Exotic Passive None – Goalkeeper only
Dragon Exclusive Active 70 seconds – Formless exclusive
Egoist Legendary Passive None + 4x Ego gain + Perfect if you like to 1v1 snatch and block opponents
Fortune Exotic Passive None + 3x money in Autos- Not worth it unless you need to farm Yen
Long Strides Rare Passive None + Small increase in speed
Meta-Vision Legendary Active 150 seconds + Immune to ankle breaks+ Increases hitbox- Leaves you ragdolled when it ends
Revolver Exclusive Active 120 Seconds – Nagi exclusive
Tireless Exotic Passive None + Increased stamina+ Great for stalling

If playing forward is your thing then you should go with Ambidextrous, especially if you have Kunigami as your weapon. If you like to play defense then choose Meta-Vision but be wary of its cooldown and end time.

B Tier

Trait Rarity Type Cooldown Pros / Cons
Consistent Exotic Passive None + Reduces cooldown time by 15% for all weapons
Quick Draw Exotic Passive None + Boost shot charge time- Only good for slower builds
Ripper Exotic Passive None + Ragdolls opponents for four more seconds after their ankle breaks+ Great if you like 1v1- Need to be good at dribbling
Surf Rare Passive None + Slide tackle duration and distance+ Chances of stealing the ball- longer animation duration
Tank Rare Passive None + Increased overall hitbox
Unbreakable Exotic Passive None + Good for defending- Only lasts 20 seconds

Traits in this tier are decent enough to use when you have familiarised yourself with the game. I suggest Sticking with Ripper and Quick Draw as they are easy to learn.

C Tier

Trait Rarity Type Cooldown Pros / Cons
Clamps Rare Passive None + More M2 range
Diver Exotic Passive None – Goalkeeper only
No Look Exotic Passive None + Increase in shot power- Only works when used without shiftlock
Powerhouse Rare Passive None – Barely noticeable increase in shot power

These traits are perfect if you are just starting out as they are easy to get and also learn. If you like being a goalkeeper then get Diver and if you like playing forward then get Clamps as it can help you snatch the ball more quickly.

D Tier

All the Traits in this tier are of Common rarity except for Heavy. You should reroll them as soon as you can as they are mainly debuffs.

  • Dwarf
  • Heavy
  • Lazy
  • Tired
  • Weak

When to Reroll Traits in Locked

Much like rerolling Weapons, rerolling traits are mostly luck-based. Since better traits are rare, getting them can not only take a bunch of time but also costs a lot of money. That’s why I suggest sticking to good enough traits such as the ones mentioned in the B and C tiers at the start.

Once you get used to the gameplay and find your niche, you should start rerolling. Do note that each reroll costs 3000 Yen and it might take multiple tries to land on a Trait that suits you.

That was all about Traits in Locked. While you are here, check out our Locked Codes post for free Yen and other rewards. If you need codes for other experiences, check out our Roblox Game Codes post.
