Our Eternal Saga tier list covers the best meta characters in the game. In this idle gacha game, you fight battles with a team of five heroes from various world mythologies. Let’s take a look at unit rarities and who will bring you to a fast victory.

Best Characters Ranked – Eternal Saga

Given how Eternal Saga works and the stats that various units carry on their kits, we will only focus on the Fated Lore rarity units. The others won’t be of help to you at all in the long run. Some of these are given to you for free as you progress through the game.

Here are the very best of the Fated Lore. Though this rarity has numerous units, these five will make your team infinitely better in fast clearing of difficult stages.

ZephyrWarrior, Wind + Deals AoE damage with numerous debuffs to enemies, including Poison and Lifesteal, while also controlling with Knockback+ Rare kit that involves Dodge, with multiple damage and survivability buffs
LinaSupport, Fire + A support that heals on Ultra, instead focusing on buffs for two team DPS, while also inflicting multiple debuffs, including Silence
KokomiSupport, Water + An excellent healer with good coverage, inflicts some debuffs to enemies while also cleansing ally debuffs
+ Heals somewhat dependent on RNG, leaning towards the front row
ArtemisWarrior, Water + A strong back row DPS who can repel damage taken, steal HP, give self various buffs while debuffing and controlling enemies+ Gets stronger the more a battle drags out

PhoeniciaMage, Fire + Mage that specialises in attacking low HP enemies, inflicts minor debuffs
Lu BuWarrior, Fire + A tank-like warrior that has self-recovery abilities, inflicts Burn, and a secondary form that grants him additional buffs
JainaMage, Water + Decent AoE damage with a chance to inflict freeze and armor break to targets, minor self-buffs
NeithSupport, Light + A buffer and a healer dedicated to the main DPS of the team, lesser heals to the most damaged team members

C Tier Characters

C-tier category contains all the characters that have spectacularly low stats compared to others of Fated Lore, or are just vastly outclassed by others. Some of these are given to you for free just for completing certain stages, but are generally not great.

How to Reroll in Eternal Saga

If you’d like to test your luck from scratch and get one of the best-rated units as soon as possible, here is how to reroll in Eternal Saga:

  • Click your account icon in the upper left corner
  • Click on the settings menu on the right
  • Press Switch Account in the pop-up menu
  • Confirm you want to exit the game and start anew
  • Once you’re happy with the starter, don’t forget to bind your account to get extra rewards!

Unfortunately, the free units that Eternal Saga developers give out aren’t that great and will only carry you for so long should you choose to build them, so opting to get a better unit from gacha is a must.
