The Division 2 Crossroads Season Modifiers Explained
This season features a global modifier called Hard-Core, which provides bonuses for both you and your teammates. The benefit increases based on your Gear Cores, and you can amplify it by taking down enemies with Hostile Countermeasures.
You have the opportunity to gain three critical Attribute scores. Here’s how the bonus scaling works:
1. Firearms
- Grants +[X] percent Critical Hit Chance (CHC) that surpasses the CHC cap.
- Tier 5 Effect: Instantly refills all ammo, including for your Signature Weapon.
2. Stamina
- Provides a +[Y] percent Bonus Armor for every 300K damage you endure.
- Tier 5 Effect: Instantly refills all Armor Kits.
3. Electronics
- Each time a skill is activated, it reduces the cooldown of your other skill by [Z] percent of its current value.
Understanding Active Modifiers in Crossroads Season
The current season introduces five Active Modifiers designed to enhance gameplay. These modifiers utilize your existing score bonuses for temporary boosts.
- Broken Link: Freezes all attributes at their current score while doubling all current bonuses according to their respective tiers.
- Target-Rich Environment: Marks three unmarked targets within 35m. Kills and assists yield a x2 multiplier for 15 seconds, then freezes the attributes, multiplying the bonus effects by x4 for 25 seconds.
- Assault Link: Sets your Firearms score to Tier 5 and grants allies within 25m a Firearms Score Bonus. You earn +5 percent weapon damage for every non-red core while freezing attributes and quadrupling their bonus effects.
- Security Link: Elevates your Stamina Score to Tier 5, offering a Stamina Score Bonus to allies within 25m. Gain 60K extra Max Armor for every non-blue core, with attributes frozen and effects multiplied.
- Tech Link: Raises your Score to Tier 5, granting Electronics Score Bonus to allies nearby. You enjoy +10 percent Skill Efficiency for every non-yellow core, with frozen attributes and multiplied effects.
Passive Modifiers: Unlocking New Potential
Once you achieve minimum tier levels for your Attributes, Passive Modifiers kick in, enhancing your gameplay experience.
- Loaded Up: +25 percent of Critical Hit Chance is added as Critical Hit Damage while at Max Tier in Firearms.
- Specialized: Signature Weapon DMG receives a boost of 10 percent for each Firearms Tier.
- Extra Padding: Grants 5 percent Protection from Elites for each Blue Core while at Max Tier in Stamina.
- Safety First: Hazard Protection increases by 7.5 percent for each Stamina Tier.
- Hands-on: While in Max Electronics Tier, gain a skill damage bonus equal to 50 percent of your current Skill Haste.
- Interference Blocker: Disrupt Resistance increases by 10 percent for every Electronics Tier.
- The Best Kind of Defense: While at least Tier 3 in both Firearms and Stamina, you get +2.5 percent Headshot Damage for every 100K Armor you possess.
- Supportive: For those at least Tier 3 in both Stamina and Electronics, outgoing and incoming repair increases by 25 percent.
- Tech Upgrades: At least Tier 3 in both Firearms and Electronics raises Skill Duration by 25 percent of the current critical hit damage value.
- Multitasker: Gain +7.5 percent Weapon DMG, an 85K Max Armor increase, and +1 Skill Tier while at Tier 5 in all Attributes.
- A Tier a Day: For each Tier in any Attribute, you receive +10 percent Max Health.
Hostile Countermeasures in the Crossroads Season
Crossroads also introduces three Hostile Modifiers, providing various buffs to enemies. Depending on their spawn, enemies may carry one, two, or all three effects, but you won’t see the same modifier twice.
- Firearms Mark: This marked enemy receives +15 percent DMG and +20 percent Movement Speed.
- Stamina Mark: The marked enemy gains Overheal and suffers a reduction of 35 percent in Critical Hit Damage.
- Electronics Mark: Marked enemies incur -33 percent Damage from skills and weak spots, while deployed gadgets receive the same damage reduction.
To incentivize defeating these tougher foes, here are the rewards you can earn:
- Receive Score Points corresponding to the Attributes linked with their Marks.
- Assists grant Score Points based on relevant Attributes.
- Skill kills count as assists.
- Skill-based assists do not grant Score Points.
