Master the Popcorn Enthusiast Duty in Disney Dreamlight Valley

From May 28 to June 17, Disney Dreamlight Valley invites you to immerse yourself in the exciting Dreamlight Parks Fest event. This is your chance to craft exclusive furniture and complete various Dreamlight duties, with the Popcorn Enthusiast duty reigning as the most intricate challenge. Don’t miss out on this limited-time event!

Your Guide to the Popcorn Enthusiast Duty at Disney Dreamlight Valley Parks Fest

To conquer the Popcorn Enthusiast duty in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll need to craft and place five popcorn buckets. Each design is linked to the ongoing Dreamlight Parks Fest, which runs from May 28 to June 17. There are five different button types necessary for crafting these buckets, providing you an opportunity to enhance your village while earning quest rewards.

Within the event, seven popcorn bucket types are available, but you’ll only need five to complete this task. Here’s a quick rundown of the popcorn bucket options at your disposal:

  • Cinderella Popcorn Bucket
  • Stitch Popcorn Bucket
  • Figment Popcorn Bucket
  • Pooh’s Popcorn Bucket
  • Metallic Mickey Popcorn Bucket
  • Dug Popcorn Bucket
  • Mine Cart Popcorn Bucket

Good news: you don’t need to wait to craft the Dug and Mine Cart Popcorn Buckets to complete the task. You can opt to create the first five bucket designs introduced during the 2024 Dreamlight Parks Fest event, avoiding any delays associated with Scrooge McDuck and Mirabel’s quests.

For crafting these popcorn buckets, you’ll need to explore Dreamlight Valley to find buttons. You can acquire these buttons through fishing, completing daily quests, and foraging. While farming some buttons can be limitless, items like green, flower, and red buttons depend on daily quests and limited spawn rates. This makes it quite the undertaking if you hope to complete everything in a single day.

If you’ve participated in previous events, you can revisit the task using the Cheshire Cat’s Uncrafting Station. This will allow you to deconstruct each bucket, retrieve your buttons, and craft them again to finish the village tasks. Just keep in mind, the Dug and Mine Cart Popcorn Buckets were not available last year, so you can’t break those down.

In total, to craft all five popcorn buckets, you’ll require the following buttons:

  • Green Button – 280
  • Purple Button – 30
  • Flower Button – 100
  • Blue Button – 120 (90 for recipes, 30 for purple buttons)
  • Red Button – 100 (40 for recipes, 60 for purple buttons)

This is a significant amount of buttons! While some, like blue and flower buttons, can be easily collected through fishing and flower picking, others demand days of questing, crafting, and foraging, resulting in a task far more complex than Sweet Samaritan or Button-Maker. Thankfully, crafting all five popcorn buckets lets you easily complete the Button-Maker task too, efficiently checking off two of the three event duties.
