Mastering Outfit Changes in Elden Ring: Nightreign Guide

Elden Ring Nightreign delivers a captivating array of outfits that any player would appreciate, featuring everything from iconic costumes to new gothic designs. The in-game fashion is as stunning as ever, yet it’s worth noting that these outfits are purely cosmetic, offering no gameplay bonuses or resistances. Additionally, players must conquer specific challenges before changing their looks. If you want to dive deeper, our guide on how to change outfits in Elden Ring Nightreign has all the details you need.

Elden Ring Nightreign: How to Change Outfits

To change your outfit in Nightreign, you first need to complete two expeditions. This entails defeating Gladius, the final boss of the Tricephalos expedition, as well as another Nightlord of your choice. While these tasks may sound straightforward, they can be quite challenging—there’s no shortcut here.

Once you’ve vanquished two Nightlords, the Roundtable Hold’s caretaker, Iron Menial, will cue you on a new mirror located in the east wing. To access this area, go through the door on the right from your spawn point in the hold, then proceed straight down the adjoining corridor.

In this room, you’ll spot the mirror just waiting for your interaction. Using it will open the ‘Change Garb’ menu. If you’re having trouble locating it, pull up the map, hover over the east wing, and look for the corresponding icon.

How to Get New Outfits in Elden Ring Nightreign

As a roguelite experience, most items you gather in Limveld are not part of permanent progression. To unlock new outfits, you must navigate to the Change Garb menu and purchase skins using Murk. This new currency is awarded at the end of each expedition, so expect to grind a bit to accumulate enough Murk for a stylish new look.

Additionally, each character has unique outfits that can only be unlocked through the Remembrance chapters. For more insight, don’t miss our in-depth Remembrance Mode guide.
