Players receive a notification 12 minutes before the Blood Moon event begins, allowing them time to gear up for this unique in-game weather phenomenon. Once the event kicks off, a countdown appears on-screen, coupled with a red effect that alerts all players.

New Clawed Mutation

The highlight of the Blood Moon event is undoubtedly the Dire Wolf boss. This creature appears one minute after the event starts, so make sure you are prepared.
Remember, the Dire Wolf appears only once during each Blood Moon event, and it can be found at a fixed spot in the Cinder Cavern (coordinates: 3023, 28, -903). So, equip your best shovel, Ninja Headbands, and Monarch Totems to take it down swiftly. Defeating the Dire Wolf yields rewards between $2,000 and $3,500 and 1,200 to 1,400 XP.
Dire Claws Charm
If fortune smiles upon you, there’s a 1% chance of uncovering the Dire Claws charm while digging. This charm grants a minor increase to endurance and strength.
Additionally, it carries a passive effect with a 15% chance to inflict 20-40 damage to bosses in Dig. A crucial note: you cannot use the charm chisel on this unique rarity charm.
How to Get the Blood Moon Chest in Dig
