Killing Floor 3 immerses players back into the chaos with the Containment Measures mission, right after picking up crucial samples. This particular mission can be a challenge, as you need to engage with several key elements across two main objectives.
After your last venture into the R&D Lab, things got a bit unsettling when you scanned the samples. While you can’t reverse the chaos, you can certainly manage it. Here’s how to tackle this mission effectively in Killing Floor 3.
Guide to the Containment Measures Mission in Killing Floor 3
The Containment Measures mission revolves around two primary tasks: burning tainted corpses and scanning shipping containers. These objectives are spread across different parts of the tight-knit Army Depot, making navigation critical.
Locating Tainted Corpses in Containment Measures
During my recent playthrough of Containment Measures, I discovered four tainted corpses. We traveled through the Absolute Massacre path, which meanders through train wreckage into the heart of the depot. The placement of corpses can vary based on your run and starting points, but you’re likely to find more than five per session.
- Right side of the wreckage spawn point.
- Left of the train wreck, near a small staircase.
- Close to the train wreck, beside an armored lockbox.
- Inside the wreckage near a shipping container.
- To the right of the garage spawn, next to a gate with a burnt tank.
- Beyond the gate to the warehouse from the garage.
If you land in the garage, there’s a tainted corpse just to your right and another past a broken blast door leading to the warehouse. Burn at least one corpse, then choose either the ramp or stairs entering the train pit. Cross over, and you’ll find four tainted corpses in a linear path.
You’ll find one beside the tunnel marked with a D to the right of your standard spawn, one more on your left near a shattered wall with an explosive barrel, and another within the train wreckage. The last is nearby an armor box.
After successfully burning five corpses, you’ll progress to the next stage, which involves scanning three shipping containers deeper in the warehouse.
Scanning Shipping Containers in the Main Building
The next objective requires scanning three shipping containers, which is much easier without hordes of undead chasing after you. The first two containers are conveniently located close together, while the last requires you to backtrack a bit.
- At a container to your right as you ascend a ramp, past the large fan.
- On an elevated platform within the shipping area.
- On the ground level of the inspection room beside the stairs.
Grab the first two as you make your way into the main building interior, then seek out the last one in the inspection room when it’s clear. You can ascend to the second-floor platform marked with a red light, come up top, and navigate your descent.
Once you’ve scanned all the containers, complete the run, and you’ll be set to move on to the next mission in Killing Floor 3, Shipment Tracking.
