In Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’re about to embark on an exciting journey with Joy as she leads you through the Imagination Land quest. If you’ve built a pillow fort for Sadness and unearthed parts of a plush bear, your adventure is just beginning. This guide will not only help you navigate through the quest requirements but also ensure you’re well-prepared for all the challenges along the way.
As an avid player of Disney Dreamlight Valley, I’ve spent countless hours mastering every quest. I’ve gathered insights that can elevate your gaming experience and ensure you’re not just playing, but thriving in this colorful world.
1. Starting the Imagination Land Quest
Before diving in, make sure you’ve met the following requirements to initiate Joy’s Imagination Land quest:
- Complete Sadness’s level four friendship quest, The Fortress of Saditude.
- Achieve level seven friendship with Joy.
- Unlock The Fairy Godmother as a valley villager and complete her friendship quests.
- Unlock every Disney Dreamlight Valley biome.
Once you’ve ticked off these items, you’re ready to chat with Joy and start the quest!
2. Find the Forgotten Lands Biome Plans
After a brief chat with Joy, you both decide the Forgotten Lands need a cheerful facelift. Your first stop will be the Fairy Godmother’s home, where you’ll search for the Forgotten Lands Biome Plans.
The plans will appear as a blank sheet of paper, reminiscent of memory pages. Instead of activating a memory, you’ll collect it directly, enabling you to return to Joy and move forward with the quest.
3. Remove Green Fires and Night Thorns from the Forgotten Lands
Once Joy receives the biome plans, she’ll urge you to eliminate the pesky green fires and night thorns disrupting the Forgotten Lands’ beauty. By this point, you should have the tools necessary for this task, unless you’ve been tending to the biome regularly.
If you find yourself low on night thorns or green fires, consider clearing some decorations or paths. This will help make room for new ones to spawn.
4. Craft the Imagination Land Arch
With the area cleaned up, Joy will ask you to assist in creating an arch for Imagination Land. You’ll need to gather the following resources:
- Topaz (3)
- Dark Wood (10)
- Yellow Nasturtium (2)
To find Topaz, mine it from rocks in the Plaza. Dark Wood and Yellow Nasturtiums are exclusive to the Forgotten Lands, often found around its trees and randomly sprouting in the biome.
Once you have all three items, head to a crafting station to create the Imagination Land Arch before returning to Joy.
5. Craft Sunflower and Daisy Pots
Next, you’ll be tasked with crafting Sunflower and Daisy pots. For this, gather:
- Sunflowers (10)
- Yellow Daisies (20)
- Flower pots (10)
If you’re short on flowers, visit the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow to collect more. Although it can take some time for them to spawn, you can make the process quicker with a few tricks:
- Use Furniture Mode for a bird’s-eye view to spot hidden flowers.
- Relocate buildings or decorations blocking flowers.
- Pick every flower in both biomes to increase the spawn cap for new ones.
To craft the flower pots, you’ll need 60 clay and 20 soil. Clay can be acquired by digging or purchased from Kristoff’s stall. Soil is easier to find; just dig in any biome.
After gathering everything, return to your crafting station to create your pots before heading back to Joy.
6. Removing More Night Thorns
Now that you’ve delivered the sunflower and daisy pots along with the Imagination Land arch, it’s time to decorate! Following the set-up, Joy will want a photo with you, but suddenly, more night thorns will magically appear.
As you take care of these night thorns, you’ll discover some yarn for the plush bear hidden beneath them. After discussing this find with Merlin and Joy, you’ll wrap up the Imagination Land quest and set the stage for Sadness’s upcoming mission.
How do I start the Imagination Land quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley? You need to complete specific friendship quests and unlock various biomes before you can speak to Joy and begin.
What materials do I need to craft the Imagination Land arch? You will need 3 Topaz, 10 Dark Wood, and 2 Yellow Nasturtiums.
How can I find more flowers quickly in Disney Dreamlight Valley? Utilize Furniture Mode, rearrange objects that might be hiding flowers, and ensure you gather every flower available to increase spawning rates in future visits.
