On October 22nd, the YouTube channel “The KStarNextDoor” posted a video titled “BABYMONSTER VS BABYMONSTER Super vocal strength show (ft. 2NE1, BLACKPINK, G-Dragon)”, with all members of BABYMONSTER appearing as guests.
During the show, MC Jonathan asked Chiquita, “Any festivals BABYMONSTER want to perform in or something you want to accomplish?” Chiquita responded, “Not just Coachella, but big festivals. I want to perform in big festivals. Coachella is my dream. But I also want to join other big festivals.“
Upon hearing this, Rami said “My girl has an ambitious dream“, while Rora exclaimed, “She became so fluent in Korean. I’ve never seen her talking so fluently before. I’ve never heard her saying ‘not just’ before.”
Rora shared, “I want to go on a world tour. We’ve been to 2NE1’s concert recently. We want to have fun with MONSTIEZ like that. We want to run around and have fun with them so much. We were born to be on stage.”
BABYMONSTER’s upcoming title track “DRIP” has drawn attention for featuring none other than G-Dragon, a symbol of YG Entertainment, as one of the composers.
Asa confessed, “It was an honor that he recorded the demo song. The producer told me to sing like him. So I was like, ‘What? The song? Me’ I was flustered. I did my best to make it sound similar.”
Jonathan then asked, “Did GD give you the guide?” Rora quickly added “Say no more” and hinted at no further spoilers, simply saying, “Please look forward to it.”
Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER is set to make their comeback with their first full-length album “DRIP” on November 1st.
