According to OSEN on Oct 17th, Ahn Eun-jin will star in SBS’s “Kiss Me For No Reason”, which is set to air next year.
“Kiss Me For No Reason” tells the story of a single woman who fakes being a mother to secure a job for survival, and the romance that blossoms with her team leader who falls in love with her. It is a warm romantic comedy about the protagonist learning the value of achievement and responsibility in the midst of her daily struggles, as lies and misunderstandings transform into truth and love.
In the drama, Ahn Eun-jin will play the role of Go Da-rim, the protagonist who disguises herself as a married woman with a child to protect her family. She navigates a series of chaotic incidents while leading a double life at work, maintaining a precarious balance between her real identity and her fake persona. With her positive energy, Ahn Eun-jin is expected to bring life to the character Go Da-rim, who bravely faces her challenges in a relatable and inspiring way.
Ahn Eun-jin first gained recognition in 2018 through JTBC’s “Life” and has since built a solid filmography, demonstrating her unique presence and unlimited potential.
She appeared in projects like OCN’s “Possessed”, KBS 2TV’s “My Fellow Citizens!”, OCN’s “Hell Is Other People”, JTBC’s “Diary of a Prosecutor”, tvN’s “Hospital Playlist”, TVING’s “The Witch’s Diner”, JTBC’s “The One and Only”, “The Good Bad Mother”, MBC’s “My Dearest”, Netflix’s “Goodbye Earth” and the films “The Night Owl” and “Citizen of a Kind”. She has cemented her status as a leading actress with both star power and acting ability.
Her portrayal of Gil Chae in “My Dearest” earned her the “Top Excellence Award, Actress in a Miniseries” at the 2024 MBC Drama Awards.
Ahn Eun-jin is also known as one of the “Legendary Class of 2010” graduates from the prestigious Korea National University of Arts. Recently, she showed off her impressive variety show skills on tvN’s “Fresh off the Sea”, further endearing herself to the public.
