Jang Shin-young is set to appear as a special MC on “My Ugly Duckling” on October 13, where she will discuss her feelings about making such a difficult decision.
During the episode, she greets the cast with a smile, and Shin Dong-yeop notes that viewers will be surprised to see her. Seo Jang-hoon asks about her decision to appear, acknowledging the media coverage surrounding her situation.
In December, it was revealed that her husband, Kang Kyung-jun, had been accused of infidelity and faced a compensation lawsuit. The couple had previously presented themselves as a perfect family on shows like KBS2’s “The Return of Superman” and SBS’s “Same Bed, Different Dreams 2,” making the news even more shocking.
Jang Shin-young reflects, “I thought, ‘Is it wrong for me to be appearing now?’ and that made me lose a bit of my confidence. I feel sorry for showing a less than perfect image when I should have shown a better side.”

After maintaining silence for some time, Jang Shin-young expressed her stance on social media in August, saying, “I had many discussions with my husband. I have reflected on myself and endured painful times, but I’ve decided to live together again for our children,” indicating her intention to forgive Kang Kyung-jun.
