Recently, TWICE’s Jeongyeon is appearing as the MC for a web variety show, making fans smile with her antics.
For the latest episode of this show, however, the guest was a rather familiar face – TV personality Doni, who was known for being a former host of the TV show “Weekly Idol”.
In the past, Doni was deemed as quite controversial, having made inappropriate comments and actions towards many idols. Particularly, he once came under fire for violently hitting Jeongyeon on her head with a hammer in one “Weekly Idol” episode.
Now, Jeongyeon and Doni have “switch positions” in the new variety show, as the two was shown arranging domino bricks when Doni suddenly knocked one over.
Seeing this, Jeongyeon grabbed a hammer identical to the one she was once hit with and slowly approached Doni, scaring the man.
The female idol also recalled the incident where Doni hit her 7 years ago, looking satisfied as she was finally getting revenge. Meanwhile, Doni could only ask for mercy, to which Jeongyeon somewhat granted him as she hit him with only one hand.
Fans who saw the footage cheered enthusiastically, claiming that Jeongyeon finally got her hammer revenge. Many were also surprised that Jeongyeon herself remembered the incident.
