Most of us have heard a relative, friend, or coworker who doesn’t watch Asian dramas say these words: “But how do you tell them apart? They all look the same.” Generally speaking, this has never been a problem for me. But even with more than a decade of Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and Taiwanese drama watching, there are those who stun me with how similar they are. The eerie similarities can be in facial features, mannerism, or both.
P.S. Doppelgängers are not restricted to Asian people. Nor am I saying that all Asians look similar. This is just a fun article on the times I did a double take because of how similar two or more actors looked.
