In a recent interview for the film “Veteran 2”, Jung Hae-in commented, “I think it’s because we have such great chemistry. Not only in the drama, but also in promotional videos and behind-the-scenes footage, people have said we seem to get along well,” adding, “I won’t make any comments about a real-life romance.” However, he did mention that they have made efforts to become closer, as their characters are childhood friends in the drama.
The rumors intensified further when Jung So-min attended the VIP premiere of “Veteran 2”, and the two were seen traveling together for a photoshoot.
Before them, the couple who heated up online discussions with their on-screen chemistry were Byeon Woo-seok and Kim Hye-yoon. The two starred in the popular tvN drama “Lovely Runner”, which concluded on May 28th, portraying a sweet romance that captivated the audience.
Their chemistry persisted even after the drama ended. When they appeared on the web variety show “Salon Drip”, Kim Hye-yoon commented on Byeon Woo-seok, “I felt new emotions,” while Byeon Woo-seok added, “It felt like we were the only two people in the world. Similarly, Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won received much love for their convincing portrayal of a couple married for three years in the tvN drama “Queen of Tears”, which concluded on April 28th. The show achieved a record high rating of 24.9% for its finale, with many fans wishing they would become a real-life couple.
Kim Soo-hyun further fueled the rumors by posting a photo on his personal social media in July that had a similar vibe to Kim Ji-won’s. However, he quickly deleted the post, which only increased speculation about their relationship.
