According to OSEN on the afternoon of Sep 25th, the new drama “Our Movie” has finalized its airing on SBS instead of tvN and is scheduled to be broadcast next year. On the same day, the lead actors Nam goong Min and Jeon Yeo-been, along with the director and the entire production team, will gather for the first script reading at a location in Seoul.
Previously, it was announced that “Our Movie” would air on tvN, and the tvN listing even appeared on portal sites. However, it was recently decided that the drama will be broadcast on SBS, with the airing scheduled for the first half of 2025.
“Our Movie” is a story about a film director who is stuck in a sophomore jinx and lives without a next life and an actress with a limited lifespan who tries to live as the main character of her life, only upon reaching the end of her life.
Nam goong Min will play the role of the film director who decides to shoot a movie with a terminally ill patient as the lead, while Jeon Yeo-been will portray the woman who, after being diagnosed with a terminal illness, decides to become the main character in the movie at the end of her life. With Namkoong Min, who won the Best Actor award at the Baeksang Arts Awards for “My Dearest”, and Jeon Yeo-been, a trending actress known for her roles in “Vincenzo”, “Cobweb” and “Dark Nuns”, the drama is highly anticipated.
Meanwhile, “Our Movie” will be directed by Lee Jung-heum, known for JTBC’s “Inspector Koo”, with Han Ga-eun and Kang Kyung-min as writers, and produced by Beyond J.
