The sudden resurrection of Chairman Jung Jinsu of the New Truth and Park Jungja sets the stage for a new conflict involving lawyer Min Hye-jin of Sodo, the New Truth, and the Arrowhead faction.
In the newly revealed character poster, Moon Geun-young stands out as “Ms. Sunshine”, the key propagandist of Arrowhead, with her striking makeup and intense appearance. Her bold floral accessories and makeup leave viewers guessing about her character’s role.
In the teaser trailer, she also makes a strong impression as a leader inciting the public, sparking anticipation for a side of Moon Geun-young’s acting that hasn’t been seen before.
According to Star Today on October 7th, Moon Geun-young confirmed her attendance at the press conference for the second season of “Hellbound.” Despite a little cautious about being in public for this special appearance, she decided to stand in front of the reporters due to enthusiastic fans and colleagues’ support.
Moon Geun-young’s agency CRE Company said, “It is true that actress Moon Geun-young will attend the press conference for ‘Hellbound 2’,” adding, “She plans to meet with reporters after a long time, being full of nervousness and excitement. Please give her a lot of support.”
“Hell” Season 2 was first released after receiving an official invitation to the 29th Busan International Film Festival on Screen section, which opened on October 2nd. Moon Geun-young drew attention as she performed better than expected in the first, second, and third episodes of Season 2 that were screened at the festival. Despite her absence at the film festival, her co-stars praised her talents, drawing more attention.
This is her first return to acting in about three years since her KBS special drama “Abyss” in 2024. Last year, she briefly appeared on the stage as a surprise guest at the late Kang Soo-yeon memorial exhibition. Regarding the upcoming press conference, it is the first time in seven years that she has appeared in public as an actress since “Glass Garden” (directed by Shin Soo-won).
