According to IZE on October 31st, “Ask the Stars”, starring Gong Hyo-jin and Lee Min-ho, is set to air on tvN as a Sat-Sun drama next January. It will follow the conclusion of “Love Your Enemy”, slated to end this December.
“Ask the Stars” is a romantic comedy set in space, written by Seo Sook-hyang, who is known for hits like “Pasta” and “Don’t Dare to Dream”. The drama, which wrapped filming last year, features Gong Hyo-jin as Captain Eve Kim, a perfectionist and top astronaut, and Lee Min-ho as Gong Ryong, an OB-GYN who joins a space tour after paying an astronomical amount of money. The developing romance between these two characters has already garnered significant attention from viewers.
Additionally, “Ask the Stars” will feature actors Oh Jung-se, Han Ji-eun and Kim Joo-hun.
The first episode of “Ask the Stars” is tentatively set for January 4th, 2025, pending final confirmation within tvN. Expectations are high that it will continue tvN’s streak of popular Sat-Sun dramas.
In the first half of this year, tvN created a sensation with the Sat-Sun drama “Queen of Tears”, starring Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won. Following this, dramas like “The Midnight Romance in Hagwon”, “The Auditors” and “Love Next Door” have also received great acclaim from viewers.
