So, what are we all watching this week?
What kept you reaching for more (or agonizing when there was no more), and what made you want to throw your remote through the screen? Time to weigh in…

Unlock the Boss: I need a serious palate cleanser after The Impossible Heir, and I actually forgot I was still in the middle of watching this one. Sorry, little show! It’s actually quite cute, and watching Chae Jong-hyeop and Seo Eun-soo team up is so much fun. I’m having a little trouble with the suspension of disbelief still, but the drama has enough heart that I can enjoy it while not fully buying it. Kim Sung-ho is almost a blast here. I’m almost halfway through, so I’m desperately waiting for looking forward to the loveline picking up, too.

Queen of Tears: Manifesting more Hongs-out-of-water shenanigans and less villain screentime for this weekend’s episodes. Unless the villain is Da-hye coming back to unbreak Soo-cheol’s heart and teach him how to ride a bike and let him tuck their baby to sleep.
Parasyte – The Grey: I didn’t know the source material. I just started this with zero expectations except for the fact that I love creature features and Gu Kyo-hwan so it’s no surprise that I find the duo’s (or is it trio?) partnership adorable. Whoever thought of contrasting Gu Kyo-hwan’s dramatic reaction to everything with Heidi’s “what is emotion blrrp blrrp I’m a parasite” face deserves a raise.

Queen of Tears: I’m so ready for some in-law hijinks while Hyun-woo plots to take down the bad guys. Although, to be honest, I was kind of happy to see Hae-in’s family get scammed. Most of them deserved it, so I’m happy to see them all humbled.
Wedding Impossible: The Kim Bum cameo was probably my favorite part of the finale. Otherwise, I was kind of indifferent, but at least everyone got their happy ending — after an eye rolling breakup and time skip.
