In dramaland, leading ladies often find themselves torn between the love of two equally attractive men — a choice none of us would want to make! But what if you did have to pick between the frustrating lawyer and the adorkable police officer? In this weekly feature, we ask you to make the difficult decisions — and we aren’t limiting our options to dreamy oppas.
Vote via the poll and feel free to use the comments to explain exactly how you were able to choose! So, Beanies:
WOULD YOU RATHER #37 RESULTS
I’m fully aware of how ridiculous the previous Would You Rather prompt was, but c’mon — when dramaland drops a show about a woman getting turned into a chicken nugget, I can’t ignore it! It’s perfect fodder for our silly little debates, and because I can’t make the choice too easy for you, parachuting into North Korea seemed nearly as unrealistic and undesirable. Yes, @mmmmm, you caught me. I’m having a ton of fun reading your comments, so I’m thankful for everyone who took the time to chime in on why they chose one of these “two crazy options.” And for those of you who picked the totally-not-an-option option of “not rathering” — you know who you are — well, @babylilo already called you out.
So, back to the debate at hand: chicken nugget versus North Korea. Nearly 69% of Beanies would rather take their chances in North Korea than become a tasty chicken nugget. For the most part, the decision came down to the probability of survival in North Korea. For Beanies like @kurama, a Swiss national, the odds were favorable that they’d return to their home country safely, but for others, like @kodra and @minniegupta1, their survival depended upon whether or not there’d be a Captain Ri waiting for them on the other side of the DMZ. In which case, the chances of survival — and romance — seemed higher.
Without Captain Ri to come to the rescue, though, several of you would rather opt for the quick (and presumably) painless death by consumption. You know, assuming you aren’t a “sentient chicken nugget” (@marysadanaga). If you are sentient, though, the debate starts all over again — or as is the case with the Dramabeans comments section — branches off into an amusing thread between @mary, @mayhemf, @asianromance, and @bbstl as they question when, exactly, a chicken nugget becomes “alive.”
