In dramaland, leading ladies often find themselves torn between the love of two equally attractive men — a choice none of us would want to make! But what if you did have to pick between the frustrating lawyer and the adorkable police officer? In this weekly feature, we ask you to make the difficult decisions — and we aren’t limiting our options to dreamy oppas.
Vote via the poll and feel free to use the comments to explain exactly how you were able to choose! So, Beanies:
WOULD YOU RATHER #35 RESULTS
When asked if you’d rather babysit a chaebol or kids, y’all surprised me this time. I thought for sure the second-hand perks of being around a chaebol would outweigh the mundane familiarity of babysitting children, but 58% of you opted to be the NIS agent undercover as nanny (or manny). For most of you, like @jillian and @welh640, your decision was simple because you genuinely like children and feel more confident in your ability to take care of them. And in the case of @lapislazulii, you find them much cuter and manageable than adults when they throw tantrums. Plus, as @sspat pointed out, as an NIS agent, you’d be “overqualified” and less likely to encounter danger — assuming they aren’t the kids of someone with a high profile.
Buuuuut, approximately 42% of you emphatically disagreed. @kmoon79, @darkcc, and @babylilo were firmly in Camp Childfree for a variety of reasons. For starters, when providing care for someone else’s kids, you have to deal with the parents’ whims and demands on top of their kids’ temper tantrums. And, as @ahjummaaa mentioned, even if you are fortunate enough to babysit a pair of mild-mannered children, there’s a lot of pressure to not screw up when you’re responsible for someone else’s kids. Adults, however obnoxious they may be, can be held responsible for their own actions (@reply1988 and @marysadanaga). Plus, you know, a chaebol has money, and maybe he will buy you nice things to make up for the fact that he’s a pain in your ass.
