Lee Chaemin in Talks for Lead Role with NCT’s Jaehyun in New High School Drama

According to OSEN’s report on February 29th, Lee Chaemin was recently offered the lead role in the new drama “I Believe in You” (literal title) and is positively considering to appear.

Lee Chaemin plays Yang Seojun, the leader of a group of high school bullies, in the drama. He portrays a character from a wealthy family with good looks, sharp wit, and a bright mind. However, he lacks empathy for sadness and pain, tormenting his friends and causing unexpected events.

Earlier, it was revealed through OSEN’s exclusive report that NCT’s Jaehyun had been offered the role of Seo Ilnam, a victim of school violence from a poor background.

Jaehyun is positively considering the offer to star in the drama. With the two male leads taking center stage, expectations are high for the synergy and chemistry between Lee Chaemin and Jaehyun.

Planned as an 8-episode series, “I Believe in You” is a black comedy that deals with the awakening and growth of the weak against the strong. Filming is set to begin in the first half of this year.

Lee Chaemin made his debut in 2024 through tvN’s drama “High Class” and has since appeared in various works. He has also been active as an MC for KBS’ music show Music Bank for the past two years.
