Lee Do-hyun’s Surprise Non-Face-to-Face Appearance in “Military Service” Leaves Kim Go-eun Wondering: “Was I Reliable?”

On the morning of January 17th, the press conference for the movie “Exhuma” (directed by Jang Jae-hyun) took place at The Plaza Hotel in Jongno-gu, Seoul. Director Jang Jae-hyun, actors Choi Min-sik, Kim Go-eun and Yoo Hae-jin attended the event.

“Exhuma” tells a strange story that occurs to a feng shui, a funeral director and a shaman who are paid to relocate a tomb.

During the event, Lee Do-hyun, who is currently serving in the military, made a surprise appearance through a video to introduce his character, the shaman Bong Gil.

Lee Do-hyun said, “I couldn’t be here with you today, but I wanted to greet you through a video to introduce my character, Bong Gil. Bong Gil is a shaman who moves a mysterious tomb along with Hwarim (Kim Go-eun).”

He drew attention by asking Kim Go-eun a question, “Bong Gil is a young man who has both skills and good looks. He belongs to the MZ generation. My special role was to protect Hwarim like a bodyguard. Hwarim, was I reliable?

Lee Do-hyun expressed confidence, “I hope you look forward to the chemistry between Hwarim and Bong Gil. You’ll also see a new side of me that you haven’t seen in previous works.”

Kim Go-eun acknowledged their perfect chemistry, “We had great chemistry. Since we are around the same age, we got along very well.

Meanwhile, “Exhuma” is set to be released in February.
