Based on a webtoon of the same name, “Marry My Husband” follows the female lead Ji-won (Park Min-young), who was cruelly killed by her cheating husband, Min-hwan (Lee Yi-kyung). However, after her death, Ji-won was given another chance, finding herself back in the past when she had not yet gotten married.
Thus, Ji-won attempted to right her wrongs both in her work and life.
In episode 2 of “Marry My Husband”, Ji-won can be seen coming back home after work. However, she found her future husband and then boyfriend in the shower, which leads to perhaps the “cringiest K-drama bed scene in history”.
Particularly, Min-hwan can be seen pinning Ji-won to the bed and making seduction attempts. Ji-won, now knowing the true face of Min-hwan, cannot help but feel grossed out by the entire thing.
On top of this, there was a scene where Min-hwan dropped his towel, revealing his naked form, whilst Ji-won’s expression soured and her shout could be heard.
While the entire scene carried a humorous tone, it can make a lot of people uncomfortable and cringe, and the camera angles certainly didn’t help.
In fact, many netizens have expressed how they found the “Marry My Husband” bed scene to be unfunny due to its non consensual nature.
