So, what are we all watching this week?
What kept you reaching for more (or agonizing when there was no more), and what made you want to throw your remote through the screen? Time to weigh in…

Seasons of Blossom: I’ve decided to savor this one and watch the episodes slowly, and Episode 5 was a real treat. That hair-cutting scene nearly killed me. I have a weakness for hair-cutting scenes in fiction (I’m really not sure why), and Seo Ji-hoon might just have one-upped my fantasy. Add in the little hair clip and the apology post-it and I’m a goner.

Love in Contract: To be honest, I’m not a huge fan of Park Min-young, but I’m willing to admit that — Forecasting Love and Weather aside — she’s pretty good at picking dramas that turn out to be “classics.” She might have another hit on her hands with Love in Contract, but once again, my reasons for tuning in have little to do with Park Min-young and everything to do with, well, everything else. I’m drawn in by the unique concept of a professional contract wife, the side characters, the complex (albeit overly dramatic) chaebol world, and, of course, Go Kyung-pyo. I love his socially awkward character to bits, and any scene he’s in is my favorite. With Good Job wrapped up, this is now the show I look forward to every week.
Alchemy of Souls: I waited until this one finished airing so I could binge it, but now it turns out I don’t have the attention span for a lengthy binge fest. (What is wrong with me!?) I’ve enjoyed the first 3-4 episodes that I’ve watched, though. The world is so gosh darn pretty, and I have legit already bought the OST even though I’ve barely put a dent on this drama.
Today’s Webtoon: I’m three episodes away from the end, but I’m dragging my feet to complete this drama. I’m so close to the finish line, that I feel compelled to complete it for the sake of my bean count, but on the other hand there are so many new dramas that I want to check out instead. I have a strong feeling this one will be put on pause until the holidays, when I will not only have a bunch of free time on my hands but a stronger desire to up my bean count before the end of the year.

Seasons of Blossom: I’m watching only for the past timeline. I find it heart fluttery yet depressing — a combination I apparently need right now.
Love in Contract: This is so nonsensical. And I’m totally addicted to it. I keep trying to turn it off and then wondering how another episode went by. I usually don’t have any particular like or dislike for Go Kyung-pyo but he’s charming here. Although, it might be saying something that I find the antisocial one the only likeable character.
