Team Dramabeans: What We’re Watching | Missvictrixmistyisles

So, what are we all watching this week?

What kept you reaching for more (or agonizing when there was no more), and what made you want to throw your remote through the screen? Time to weigh in…

My Liberation Notes: Week 2 of this drama continues to wow, and just sucks me in as if I’m really there, exhausted in the blistering heat and wondering where my life is going. The strength of the setting keeps impressing me, but it’s definitely the writing that is pulling me in the most. But I also love the acting. And the plodding pace. And the long ponderous takes. And as for that giant leap of Gu’s… how did that come off quite as magical as it did?!

Shooting Stars: Hah, a fun first episode. I wasn’t expecting the connection between our leads already, but I’m sure the drama will have fun playing with that. Kim Young-dae is as sparkly as I expected here, but yeah — just putting it out there now — I already have Lee Jung-shin-shaped SLS.

Our Blues: Kim Woo-bin is super sexy. That is all.

Again My Life: I started this one late, so I’m only two episodes in, but I’m liking it so far! (Here’s hoping it turns out more Two Weeks and less Lawless Lawyer.) I like that he’s using his second chance to make a difference in the lives of other people around him, not just himself. Though I do worry a bit that he might get a bit too addicted to changing people’s futures, even if it is for the better. It may be a bit over-the-top at times, but I get the impression Lee Jun-ki really, really loves being an over-the-top action hero, and that alone makes it extra fun to watch.
