Currently weecapping: Mr. Queen, True Beauty
Mr. Queen: This drama is just so fun. Despite a lot of cutthroat stuff going on, it stays light and funny. I’m sad Choi Jin-hyuk’s voiceovers are no more, but maybe they’ll come back?
Get Revenge: Unfortunately, this has gotten boring in recent weeks. I’m so over all the evil chairman and his daughter stuff. Why does there always need to be evil conglomerate CEOs? It’s such a stale villain choice at this point. Really, I’m just here to watch Hae-ra and her team take people down, so let’s get back to that, drama.
Run On: I appreciate how quirky yet chill this drama is. There’s just the right amount of conflict that isn’t overblown or drawn out. I typically prefer conflict that is interpersonal or internal rather than external, so this is my cup of tea. I’m also enjoying the friendships in this drama – I seriously hope we get more of the hilarious, reluctant friendship between Dan-ah and “peasant” Mi-joo.
