So, what are we all watching this week?
What kept you reaching for more (or agonizing when there was no more), and what made you want to throw your remote through the screen? Time to weigh in…

Law School: It feels like we’re finally moving past all the exposition and taking a deeper look at the students and what makes them tick. They’re starting to feel more like real people rather than characters, and I even like how they show is balancing the human side of the drama and the murder storyline. What I don’t like is the obviously Cho Doo-soon inspired pedophile villain, Lee Man-ho. I’d love to see him and all other drama iterations of Cho Doo-soon (Taxi Driver, looking at you) off my screen posthaste. I’d been hoping that the show would dispatch of him quickly but I can’t see that happening anytime soon since they’ve revealed there’s some sort of connection between him and Kang Sol A’s family. Where’s a Truck of Doom when you need it?

Navillera: What a wonderful little drama! I loved it from start to finish. From the moment I heard there’d be a drama about an elderly man pursuing his dream of becoming a ballet dancer, I was excited, and I’m really glad it lived up to my expectations. This drama got a little heavier than I anticipated, but it stayed hopeful and uplifting all the way through. So many shows focus on youth that it’s always refreshing to see the stories of elderly people highlighted and treated as just as important. Deok-chul was such a sweet character that you couldn’t help but root for him to achieve his dream. The relationship between him and Chae-rok was so touching, and I loved watching it develop. I’ll miss watching our ballerinos (and their supporters) every week, but I’m happy with where they both ended up.
Sell Your Haunted House: This is just the fun drama I needed. Ji-ah and In-bum make an entertaining pair, and there’s just enough overarching story and character development added to the ghost-of-the-week format to make me care.
