Team Dramabeans: What we’re watchingstroopwafelmissvictrix – Latest Updates

So, what are we all watching this week?

What kept you reaching for more (or agonizing when there was no more), and what made you want to throw your remote through the screen? Time to weigh in…

Navillera: There’s so much loveliness all around but oof, the sadness now that Deok-chul’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis is out in the open! It’s bordering on too much for me, I signed up for ballet and sweetness, not to cry my eyes out every episode. While I’m throwing my wishlist out there, in lieu of scenes that make me sob, I wish we could get more Kim Kwon, he’s so great to watch as Ho-bum.

Taxi Driver: There’s something winningly straightforward about the show. It’s not necessarily a story of triumph of good over evil (and I’m not sure vigilante justice is true justice), but it’s really nice seeing the bad guys get their just desserts and victims getting a happy ending. I can never get enough Lee Je-hoon, and I could watch him chew the scenery and troll teen bullies every day of the week.

Sell Your Haunted House: I didn’t think it would be the case, but I got totally hooked last week and this was the one show I was actually dying to get back to — and for someone who hates ghost and exorcism related stuff, that’s saying something. The characters and the setup stuck their claws into me though, and I was not disappointed with Episode 3. I love the way that we see In-bum slowly come to terms with his psychic powers — it was well-written and believable. The conflicts (big and small) between him and Ji-ah are also great, and that cliffhanger was goooooood. Gotta go watch Episode 4 now, bye!
