Team Dramabeans: What We’re Watching – Stroopwafel Tipsy Mocha Miss Victrix Quirky Cases Selena

So, what are we all watching this week?

What kept you reaching for more (or agonizing when there was no more), and what made you want to throw your remote through the screen? Time to weigh in…

Three Meals a Day: Having a new season of Three Meals a Day to watch is like meeting up with a dear friend after a few months apart. It’s relaxing, there’s good chat, and lots of food. Filming on an unpopulated island is a nice touch as well, and I’ve realized whenever I watch people out in public spaces on other variety shows sans masks, I get vicarious panic (looking at you, Song Seung-heon on I Live Alone). How is it that Chajumma’s food looks even tastier than before? It’s like his snazzy new bob is the source of heightened cooking powers.

Hospital Playlist
: I’m currently playing catch-up and have just finished episode 7. I love this show so much, and every scene is jam packed with so much information. There was one scene where the five friends went out for dinner and Jung-won went to grab more water. The scene was focused on another friend talking, but I couldn’t take my eyes off a blurry figure of Jung-won putting down the water jug and helping the lady deliver food to another table before re-joining his friends. That action is so in-tune with his character and there’s so much attention to detail that it’s impressive, really. Song-hwa is a strong, independent woman but I really enjoy how protective the boys are of her. I’m a fan of her being paired up with Ik-joon and I hope it happens since it didn’t work out previously!
