Sandara Park from 2NE1 revealed a snapshot with the junior group NewJeans.
On the 12th, Sandara Park posted several photos on her social media with the short caption “2NE1NewJeans.”
The photos were taken right after the 2024 2NE1 concert “WELCOME BACK IN SEOUL,” which was held on the 6th at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Seoul. In the pictures, both 2NE1 and NewJeans members are seen smiling brightly at the camera.
Along with the photos, Sandara Park also showed off a signed CD from NewJeans with the message “To Senior Sandara Park♡.”
Earlier, NewJeans made an appearance at the Olympic Hall in Seoul on October 6 to attend the 2024 2NE1 Asia Tour concert, titled “2024 2NE1 CONCERT [WELCOME BACK] IN SEOUL.”
The members of NewJeans entered the Olympic Hall just 10 minutes before the start of the 2NE1 concert. As they appeared, the audience erupted in cheers, calling out NewJeans’ name, and the members waved and smiled brightly in response.
Earlier, on August 25th, CL of 2NE1 posted a photo with former group member Minzy and NewJeans members Minji, Hani, and Danielle. They had a surprise meetup on the 23rd at Kanye West’s concert in Goyang. NewJeans showcased chic casual fashion, while CL and Minzy added a hip vibe with unique accessories. Fans were thrilled by the meeting of these K-pop legends, celebrating the fresh encounter between 2NE1, a 2nd-gen Hallyu icon, and NewJeans, a 5th-gen K-pop sensation.
2NE1 will continue their world tour with shows at Kobe World Hall in Japan in November and Tokyo Ariake Arena in December.
