Recently, internet user Ken_Kaniff4205 on the online forum Reddit (hereinafter referred to as “KK”), shared a story about his 18-year-old girlfriend (GF), who he had been dating for 2.5 years.
According to KK, his relationship was smooth-sailing until a rather unique situation happened – the GF sent him the link to her account on the writing platform Wattpad. It was here that KK discovered that said girlfriend often wrote K-pop fanfictions, including ones that are explicit, homosexual,,,, and featuring KK himself.
“She used my full name in the story and described me down to a tee,” KK wrote, adding, “My GF Is also a huge K-Pop fan, and it was a homosexual fanfic about me, and said K-Pop member, just reading it had me feeling kind of sick.”
“She went into great detail and it had an entire 7 part series about it”, KK also shared, adding, “It had a couple views behind it too.”
After seeing these fanfictions, KK felt uncomfortable and requested his girlfriend to stop including him in her story, or at least not post the stories with his name publicly.
However, the girlfriend “blew up” at KK and started calling him “insecure”, “a piece of shit”, and all sorts of other insults, despite KK’s attempt to reason with her.
Upon reading about this situation, many netizens were shocked about the girlfriend using KK’s real name and pointed out that she was basically sexualizing him without his consent.
They also urged KK to report the girlfriend to Wattpad, ended their relationship, and even take legal actions.
