2NE1 Joins YG’s Artist Lineup: Exciting News for K-pop Fans!

Recently, fans discovered that the 2NE1 brand name has been renewed under YG’s management and added to the company’s artist lineup on various platforms.

Reactions from fans:

  • “If it’s just a commemorative performance, it wouldn’t be like this. This must mean that the four sisters will make a comeback, so YG is doing all this. I’m really looking forward to it!”
  • “When they were struggling, YG erased everything, but now that they’re making a comeback, people criticize them for being washed up and renting a tiny theater. Now that they’re popular again, they’re bringing them back in all kinds of ways.”
  • “YG ENTERTAINMENT has fallen so hard that they need to collaborate with them again.”

Earlier, on the 17th, CL shared several behind-the-scenes photos from her guest appearance at her junior group TREASURE’s ‘YG FAMILY’ concert.

In the photos, CL made a surprise appearance at TREASURE’s concert, taking over the stage with her overwhelming charisma.

CL also posed for a friendly photo with Yang Hyun-suk at the TREASURE concert venue. The image of CL and Yang Hyun-suk standing side by side with smiles delighted fans.

CL, along with 2NE1 members Park Bom, Sandara Park, and Gong Minzy, announced in June that they had their first official meeting with Yang Hyun-suk in eight years and that they would be collaborating again.

2NE1 held their “2024 2NE1 CONCERT [WELCOME BACK] IN SEOUL” on October 5th and 6th at Olympic Hall in Seoul’s Olympic Park. This was their first concert in approximately 10 years and 6 months since their last one, “[ALL OR NOTHING] in SEOUL,” held in March 2014.

Starting with the Seoul concert, 2NE1 plans to expand their tour, performing in Kobe World Hall in Japan at the end of November and Tokyo Ariake Arena in early December. The global tour schedule is also expected to be expanded.
