Considering the hit ratings of the Penthouse trilogy, it’s no surprise that the makjang duo writer Kim Soon-ok and PD Joo Dong-min are planning a seasons format for their upcoming series on SBS, Escape of the Seven. Starring Eom Ki-joon (Little Women), Hwang Jung-eum (Men Are Men), Lee Joon (Red Heart), and Shin Eun-kyung (Penthouse 3) among a large ensemble cast, filming for the first season is currently underway and the team has been green-lit to proceed with filming for Season 2.
