Get a Sneak Peek at SBS’s 2025 Drama Lineup Teasers

SBS recently held their 2024 Drama Awards, commemorating the happy year with trophy goodies for their stars, while also unwrapping special teasers to fuel the excitement for 2025. Chasing away the winter blues, the cozy office-romance Love Scout will be premiering first on January 3. The lineup below will then soon follow, to dazzle and delight our eyeballs throughout the year.

Title: Buried Hearts (previously Treasure Island)
Release date: February 2025
Need to know: The revenge-mystery series pits Park Hyung-shik (Doctor Slump) against Heo Jun-ho (Bloodhounds) in a dark tale involving oh just a measly 2 trillion won in political slush funds and a powerful conglomerate called Daesan. But with some nifty hacking by the ambitious Park, his brain now holds the only key to unlocking that treasured account.

Title: Haunted Palace (previously Return to the Palace)
Release date: April 2025
Need to know: In a wild historical and supernatural rom-com, shaman Bona (Pyramid Game) is horrified when a serpent deity – played by Kim Young-kwang (Evilive) in a special guest appearance – gets stuck inside the body of her first love Yook Sung-jae (The Golden Spoon). But they must then team-up to fight off the evil spirit haunting King Kim Ji-hoon (Death’s Game).

Title: Our Movie (previously translated as Our Film)
Release date: TBD
Need to know: Get the tissues at the ready for this melo romance because Namgoong Min (My Dearest) wants to break our hearts again, wringing our tears this time as a modern-day director struggling from a sophomore jinx. We’ll then follow his healing journey – with some more sadness on the side – when he falls in love with the aspiring actress and terminally ill Jeon Yeo-bin (A Time Called You).

Title: Try – We Become Miracles
Release date: TBD
Need to know: Yoon Kye-sang (The Frog) is our ruined hero in this underdog sports comedy, a former rugby athlete who was hit with a drug scandal. But now he’s returning to the field as a new director to train the lowest ranking team – which includes Kim Yo-han (School 2024) – working with coach (and ex-girlfriend) Im Se-mi (The Whirlwind) to help them win at the nationals.

Title: The Mantis – Original Sin
Release date: TBD
Need to know: Based on the 2017 French series La Mante, the crime-thriller stars a convicted serial murderer Go Hyun-jung (Namib) and her estranged son Jang Dong-yoon (Like Flowers in Sand), who is led to become a cop in reaction to his mother’s misdeeds. But when a copycat killer appears to be on the loose years later, a conflicted Jang reaches out to Go for insight that could help the police catch the culprit.

Title: Human From Today (previously translated as Human Starting Today)
Release date: TBD
Need to know: Enjoying the carefree life of a beautiful gumiho with powers, Kim Hye-yoon (Lovely Runner) would most definitely not want to be mortal and thus keeps a wide berth away from human men. That is until football/soccer star Lomon (Family Matters) enters the scene, messing up Kim’s plans with fantasy rom-com hijinks and those pesky feelings of ~love~.

Title: Spring of Youth
Release date: TBD
Need to know: Starring rookie Ha Yoo-joon (from the soon-to-be debuting AxMxP), Park Ji-hoo (Little Women), and Lee Seung-hyeop (Love Next Door), the coming-of-age campus romance is themed around music with our famed hero being newly ousted from his K-pop band. He then returns to the ordinary life of a college student with his peers, finding love and another chance to re-pursue his music dreams.
