Reasons to watch: After recently (finally) watching the movie Miss Granny, I’m excited to see what the drama version can pull off. The movie had a lot of unmined territory, and we all know that’s what K-dramas are good at: mining plot devices and plot arcs for all they’re worth.
Even though our remake has a lot of character switches and swaps from the original, the premise still remains the same: a granny (Kim Hae-sook) mysteriously transforms into her younger self (Jung Ji-so) and decides to pursue her dream of becoming a singer. Except it’s not that simple. Family is complicated… and so is being a grumpy granny in a young woman’s body.
TL;DR: The Miss Granny remake is finally here!
