Han Ji-min and Lee Jun-hyuk: Healing Journey in Love Scout

The newest script reading stills for SBS’s romantic-comedy Love Scout feature its beautiful leads Han Ji-min (Behind Your Touch) and Lee Jun-hyuk (Dongjae the Good or the Bastard) as a successful CEO and her competent secretary. Touted as a human drama about two flawed characters learning to care for each other, the show hopes to warm its viewers’ hearts this coming winter.

Han Ji-min plays CEO Kang Ji-yoon of headhunting company “Peoples.” A strong female leader with a sharp tongue, Ji-yoon is unbending in her ideals. She believes that trusting and waiting makes you fall behind and if you want something, then you should pay for it accordingly. She thinks the workplace is for work, and while her demeanor may be frigid, her abilities leave no room for doubt.

Opposite our workaholic boss is Lee Jun-hyuk as secretary Yoo Eun-ho. As a single father, Eun-ho knows how to take care of others, including Ji-yoon. He asks her if she has eaten a homecooked meal recently, and his simple yet attentive question makes her slowly open up her heart to him. In charge of the “healing” part of this rom-com, I have full faith in Lee Jun-hyuk to pull off the sweet and charming secretary role.

Alongside our two leads are Kim Do-hoon (Your Honor) as “born to be” silver spoon Woo Jung-hoon and Kim Yoon-hye (Jeongnyeon — The Star is Born) as author and illustrator Jung Soo-hyun. As for the supporting cast, they include Lee Sang-hee (Mr. Plankton) as the Director of Peoples Seo Mi-ae and Park Bo-kyung (Queen Woo) as Ji-yoon’s rival company CEO Kim Hye-jin.

Directed by PDs Ham Jun-ho (My Strange Hero, Payback) and Kim Jae-hong with scripts penned by Ji Eun, SBS’s Love Scout premieres next year on January 3 in the Friday-Saturday slot following The Fiery Priest 2.
