Top Drama Viewership Ratings Aug. 24-30, 2020

Pre-emptions all across the board last week. I’m sure that, by now, everyone’s heard of Covid-19 infiltrating the entertainment business, and Men Are Men was one of the productions hit. Still, the drama will be airing its final two episodes this week. Was it Love and Graceful Friends, both of which only aired one episode last week, will be airing their finales soon as well.

Amidst all the craziness, we had two dramas premiere — Alice and Missing: The Other Side. Both performed rather well, with Alice even jumping from 6.1 percent to 9.2 percent. Backtracking a bit, we had The Good Detective wrap up with its highest numbers, 7.6 and 7.5 percent. The drama’s numbers were strong all the way through, and it’s great to see it land just as strong.

More dramas (and ratings) coming. We’re gonna get a good mix of fluffy shows and serious shows, so I look forward to seeing how they fare. Though, as we’ve seen in previous posts, the fluffy shows haven’t had much luck lately.
