Top Drama Viewership Ratings: June 29 – July 5, 2020

Moving into July, we have a few shows wrapping up and a good few just getting started. Unfortunately, the shows that wrapped stumbled their way to the finish line, with Sweet Munchies at an all time low of 0.4 percent and Oh My Baby at 2.0 percent. At least with Oh My Baby, it saw a rise after weeks around the 1.0 percent mark.

On Wednesday, we had our lone premiere this week, Memorials. The drama’s ratings came in low, but they were higher than the ratings for its predecessor Soul Repairer’s finale. Old School Intern, which was the best performing show in this timeslot, finished with 6.2 percent on Wednesday, leaving Thursday’s section looking pretty empty.

Over the weekend, Backstreet Rookie and It’s Okay both saw a slight dip in numbers. Even so, the dramas are still hanging in there. For their sake, and the dramas before them, I can only hope that the power of online streaming is saving them.
