Top Drama Viewership Ratings for the Week of April 27-May 3, 2020

Just like last week, we’re welcoming some new content, saying goodbye to the old, and celebrating a big milestone. At the start of the week, we had the premiere of action comedy Good Casting, which garnered 12.3 percent. With its competition far behind, this show may become the one bright spot of this time slot.

The first finale we had was for A Piece of Your Mind, a drama that struggled throughout its entire run. It started out with a decent number of 2 percent and gradually declined to 1 percent, where it stayed for good. The next to finish was Welcome, a drama that suffered far worse, with numbers below 1 percent. More than anything, I feel bad for these shows, and the crew behind them.

Now, on to the bright side, Memorist finished its run with its second highest rating, 3.3 percent. On to the brighter side, A Couple’s World brought in a meaty 24.3 percent, beating its own record, as well as every other drama on the highest rated for cable list. Including — that’s right — SKY Castle. We have a new champion, folks, and it’s not done yet; there’s still four episodes to go.
