A bundle of new promos have been released for JTBC’s upcoming romance I’ll Find You on a Beautiful Day, featuring new character posters, stills, and a video teaser.
The drama stars actors Park Min-young (Her Private Life) and Seo Kang-joon (Watcher) as old childhood classmates and friends. In their youth, Park’s character had moved away to the big city, but life in Seoul had not been easy for her. Betrayed by everyone she trusted and feeling kicked to the curb, Park decides to return to her roots in the countryside. And she goes back to her hometown where she reconnects with Seo Kang-joon, who now runs a small independent bookshop.
In the new character posters, both Park Min-young and Seo Kang-joon are depicted outdoors, taking in the view of the winter snow. The combined poster, featuring both actors together, includes a simple caption: “The place where you are.” However, the same phrase is preceded by different text in the individual posters. Park Min-young’s poster shows: “Can I lean on there? The place where you are.” While Seo Kang-joon’s caption says: “Can I look forward to it? The place where you are.”
In the newly released stills, we get our first look at Moon Jung-hee who plays the role of Shim Myung-yeo. A best-selling writer, she enjoyed considerable fame as a young adult having graduated from an accredited university as well. Now in her 40’s, she lives a quiet life in the countryside where she runs a guest house. Described as having a strong sense of pride and a guarded personality, she can comes across as uncaring but has a lot of affection for others. She is also Park Min-young’s aunt.
The new teaser is a short clip that focuses on Park Min-young. She opens a book written by real-life poet Jung Ho-seung, makes a cup of tea, and reads a poem by the candlelight. The camera zooms in on Park’s face as she becomes pensive and she reads, “Do not cry. To be lonely is to be human.” Cutting to a shot of Park Min-young through the window, the teaser ends with Park’s voice-over: “JTBC’s Monday-Tuesday drama I’ll Find You on a Beautiful Day.”
Writing for the drama is Han Ga-ram (Summer Days) and directing will be done by PD Han Ji-seung who previously worked with actress Moon Jung-hee on Alone in Love.
JTBC’s romance I’ll Find You on a Beautiful Day is currently set to premiere on February 24, following Diary of a Prosecutor.
