Seo Kang-joon & Park Min-young Cozy Up in JTBC’s I Will Find You When the Weather Is Nice

New character stills have been released for JTBC’s upcoming romance I Will Find You When the Weather Is Nice, featuring lead actors Park Min-young (Her Private Life) and Seo Kang-joon (Watcher).

The story follows Park Min-young in the role of Mok Hae-won. Dejected by broken relationships and betrayals while living in the big city, her heart hardens and she becomes distrustful of others. Although it feels like the chilly winter weather has penetrated deep into her heart, she’s actually hiding the fear that she might get hurt again. And so, in order to escape the Seoul and find reprieve, she returns to her hometown in the countryside where she visits a small independent bookshop.

The bookstore is run by Im Eun-seob, played by Seo Kang-joon, who was classmates with Park’s character when they were children. Warm and gentle, he’s known to be very thoughtful and considerate in all of his relationships with people and finds enjoyment in life’s small moments. Having had a crush on Park when they were young, he’s taken aback when he sees her again in their hometown. As the two reconnect as adults, they gradually fall in love as well.

This show fell under my radar for some reason, but I’m excited to see how it turns out. I’m already taken in by the idea of toasty hot drinks and warm sweaters (like in Seo Kang-joon’s photos), as winter is in full force where I’m located right now. The timing is great too since Chocolate ends this weekend and I was looking for a good melo romance to replace it.

Written by Han Ga-ram (Summer Days) and directed by PD Han Ji-seung (Mistress, Alone in Love), JTBC’s new romance I Will Find You When the Weather is Nice is currently set to premiere in February 2020 following Diary of a Prosecutor.
