There’s a lot to look forward to in 2020, with a variety of dramas coming our way. We got one new drama this week, that being the second season to Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim. And wow — the first season did pretty dang well, but for the second season to come ’round to 14.9 and 18.0 percent? Now, that’s impressive. I can’t remember the last time a drama took merely two episodes to get anywhere near the 20 percent mark.
In the middle of our weekly schedule, numbers for 9.9 Billion Won Woman actually went down a bit. The drama’s been having some trouble maintaining double digits, but every week, it still manages to stay way ahead of everybody else. It even beat out the final two episodes of Psychopath’s Diary, which garnered 2.7 and 3.0 percent. Keep in mind, those are still decent by cable network standards.
And, as always, the weekend shows came in strong. After being pre-empted last week, Crash Landing on You returned to much love — 11.3 percent. With the series only halfway in, it looks like it may only go up from here.
