Reasons to watch: I could really use a new comedy to watch right about now, plus I’m really excited that Kim Jung-hyun (School 2017, Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People) is back in a new drama. This one is a coming-of-age story about a trio of boys who are unlucky in pretty much every aspect of life, and their crazy misguided scheme to run a guesthouse to make enough money to produce their own film. What they didn’t anticipate was the arrival of a single mother and her baby into their lives, which ought to make for some hilarious Three Men and a Baby situations.
It’s a youthful, upbeat drama about friendship and twentysomethings struggling to find their way, and coming from the PD of Man to Man and the writer of Blue Tower, I think the bromance and the comedy will be strong with this one.
Even the show’s promo is cheeky—the website features reviews for the guesthouse from characters in other JTBC dramas (pictured below). Bong-soon (Strong Woman Do Bong-soon): “I went with my husband and kids before the official opening, and they were very nice and friendly~ even though my daughters caused some minor accidents ^^;; They said it was okay~ They were all so sweet~ I really want to go again!! Strongly recommend!”
Ssong (Age of Youth): “It was a very satisfying stay. Above all, the fact that all the hosts are men is the best..♡ But one of them was particularly prickly with me.. And he seemed kind of familiar.. Anyway! Next time I will come without my friends. Alone!”
